SERVICE TERMS

DETAILING SERVICE & PROPERTY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Please review the following terms before booking a detailing service with Shine N' Shade.

By scheduling and approving a detailing service with Shine N' Shade, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following service and property terms.

01

Vehicle Condition

The customer understands that detailing is intended to clean, restore, and improve the appearance of the vehicle but cannot guarantee the removal of every stain, scratch, odor, blemish, or imperfection.

Final results may vary depending on the vehicle's age, condition, material, previous maintenance, and severity of contamination or damage.

02

Pre-Existing Damage

Shine N' Shade is not responsible for damage that existed prior to the service.

  • Scratches, dents, chips, cracks, or paint damage
  • Peeling or failing clear coat
  • Faded, oxidized, or deteriorated paint
  • Damaged trim, emblems, plastics, or rubber
  • Torn, cracked, or deteriorated leather or upholstery
  • Existing stains or discoloration
  • Previously repaired or repainted areas
  • Loose or improperly installed accessories

If pre-existing damage is discovered during the service, we may document it and notify the customer before continuing when appropriate.

03

Interior Detailing

Interior detailing can significantly improve the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle, but certain stains, odors, discoloration, burns, embedded contaminants, or permanent damage may not be completely removable.

Excessive contamination, pet hair, biohazard material, mold, bodily fluids, or other specialty conditions may require additional charges or specialized treatment.

04

Exterior Detailing

Exterior detailing is designed to safely clean and enhance the vehicle's exterior surfaces.

Shine N' Shade does not guarantee the complete removal of:

  • Deep scratches
  • Rock chips
  • Etching
  • Water spots
  • Heavy oxidation
  • Tree sap
  • Bird-dropping etching
  • Road tar
  • Industrial fallout
  • Paint defects

Additional services such as paint correction or specialized treatments may be recommended when appropriate.

05

Personal Property

Customers should remove valuable, fragile, or personal belongings from the vehicle before service.

Shine N' Shade is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle, including cash, electronics, documents, jewelry, or other valuables.

06

Mobile Service Conditions

For mobile detailing appointments, services may be performed at the customer's property or another approved location.

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the vehicle and, when required for the selected service, access to suitable water, power, and/or a safe working area.

Weather, environmental conditions, inadequate working conditions, or lack of required access may require an appointment to be rescheduled.

07

Service Results

While Shine N' Shade takes professional care during every service, detailing results can vary based on the condition and materials of each vehicle.

The customer understands that detailing is not the same as repairing or replacing damaged vehicle components.

08

Customer Approval

By booking a detailing service with Shine N' Shade, the customer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review these terms and understands the nature and limitations of professional detailing services.

PROFESSIONAL CARE. EVERY VEHICLE.

Shine N' Shade will make reasonable efforts to provide professional, careful, and high-quality service while treating each vehicle with appropriate care.
